Review- Butter London's West End Wonderland! GOLD + Christmassy

Hello,
So today I have re-painted my nails and thought I would do a blog post about it. I bought this nail varnish last year and I think they cost about £10. I also bought one as a present for my sister last year.

I absolutely LOVE Butter London Nail varnishes, especially the glitter ones. As soon as you apply the nail varnish your nails are completely covered in Glitter! This picture only took two coats and they look fabulous!

I really want to buy the pink sparkly one next as I have seen it on Missglamourazzi's channel and I remembered that when I was buying this one it was a choice between the two.
The gold also has flecks of red in it which I think makes it perfect for Christmas :)

They are selling Butter London Nail Varnishes for £9.60 on selected nail colours and free delivery to UK. ) Might have to buy the teal colour!!

Hope you liked it :)

Rihanna-Who's that chick inspired make-up.

Hello!
Sooo I tried to film this tutorial on Halloween but unfortunately it did not upload....extrememly annoying so before I went out I took some pictures of the finished look.

I will list a name of the products I used down below.

There are two videos of the 'who's that chick' Rihanna video and I chose the night time version as I thought this would be perfect for Halloween.

So this (not a very good picture) is the make-up look from the video.

Moisturiser
Olay Beauty Fluid and I bought this from Body Care as it's cheaper than Boots/Superdrug.

Foundation
I used Channel's Vitalumiere Aqua in B40 and applied this with a stippling brush from Superdrug think it is a QVC one.

Blusher
I used Clinique's blushing brush powder in smoldering plum.
+
Benefit's, Sugar Bomb

Eye's

Base- I applied Primarks Shimmer Shadow in a Deep Blue colour

Pink Flicks- I used Primarks, 4 colour eye shadow palette and I applied this above the eye brown and up to the hair line copying Rihanna's eye's in the video. This shadow has a purple and pink shimmer to it which I thought was perfect for this look.

Next I used the Urban Decay NYC palette and I used the colours Haight and Radium to match Rihanna's eyes.
I also used Bobbi Brown's Metallic Eye Shadow in Midnight 12. I blended these colours in until I achieved the desired look.

I took Radium and Haight underneath the eyes and applied Perversion for depth.

Eye Liner I used Bourjois's Liner Feutre Ultra Black 24 hour felt tip eye liner.

I also used Urban Decay's own Eye liner fromt he NYC palette.

Eye Lashes
I curled my eye lashes and applied Bobbi Brown's Waterproof mascara.

I then applied some false eye lashes that were just called 'Falsies'. They were a natural looking lash and I then used Daniel Sandlers Jumbo Jet mascara over the top of these lashes once the glue had dried to achieve the full looking lashes.

LIPS

For lips I used as a base Beverley Knights Lipstick that did not have a name and it was just a very pale purple colour. I then used from the Urban Decay NYC Palette: Last Call, Rockstar, Bordello and Psychedelic Sister. These are all Pinks and purples and yes they are eye shadows but they brush over the lipstick and and stick to the lip quiet nicely and you can alter the colour depending on how much you apply. I think I also used a small amount of Perversion which is the black eye shadow to create depth. I simply pressed them in to my lips with my fingers. It can get a bit messy but I think that's half the fun, just make sure you have tissues or make up wipes ready to assist with any excess or fall out from the shadows.

Below is the make-up that I used to create the look. Picture is not very good quality as I posted this to my twitter which is @jhulianaB

Hope everyone had a good Halloween and a good bonfire night! Sorry I did not upload all these photos sooner.

Review, No7 Blackberry, New colour perfect for Autumn!

Hi everyone!

My Mum has recently received a really nice gift from a friend who was staying with us for a while. The gift was the new No 7, Blackberry nail varnish from Boots.

The colour looks fabulous! At first glance, there are waves of gold shimmers that sparkle when you turn the bottle.

First, I applied the BarryM, base coat/top coat/nail hardener (all in one) nail varnish.

Next I applied the blackberry nail varnish. The brush has changed to one of those flat, curved precision brushes. I really enjoyed using this new brush as it meant I could get closer to the cuticle.

I then realised, every time I was trying to get the first coat even, it kept taking all the nail varnish off. So, I decided to remove the base coat and started to apply the nail varnish directly onto the nail and it worked perfectly. Which is kinda annoying as I hate it when the nail varnish stains your nails if you don’t apply a base coat first!

However, once the nail varnish was on and I applied a second coat, the colour was amazing and it really does dry quickly, even with a thick coat!

I was extremely happy with the finished result and my Mum was too!

I think the colour really suits her, especially as she was wearing a top that had this gorgeous deep purple colour in.

Annnd then after I had finished my youtube video....I decided to eat this....

LEMON MERINGUE PIE!!

My lovely Mummy made this for me after I saw one in Sainsbury's!

Hope you liked the post and you can see my review of this nail varnish on my YouTube channel.

Finally....Plucked up the courage to make some videos.

I was really nervous about starting them at first but now I quite like it. I will link my channel down below for people to watch.

I have done a very brief Glossy Box review, however I am cancelling my subscription soon as you have to start paying for the P&P from September and I was only going to try it for a couple of months anyway.

I have just started a hairdressing course at Lancaster & Morecambe college so I will be hopefully making video's on that. Giving anyone any information if they are thinking about starting hairdressing or are already on the course. I will probably need people to talk to too so please get in contact if you are starting a hairdressing course.

A lot of people have come to me saying that they now want me to learn quickly so I can give them a free cut! haha we will see about that I might be absolutely rubbish at it! Who knows....

Tomorrow I will do an outfit of the day and will either upload it to YouTube or take some pictures. I would tell you where I'm going too, but it's a surprise! Even though I have kind of announced it on YouTube anyway, I just hope the person who I am surprising doesn't see it!!!!!

Lots of love

Been away...

Hello!

Sorry, I haven't posted anything for quite a while now. I have been trying to experiment with the video on my camera. I will eventually put this up, it's just an outfit of the day.

Meanwhile I have been looking for eye creams. I keep getting a dry patch under my left eye and I usually put Vaseline on it then it goes away but it keeps coming back. Any suggestions on what to put here? I don't want to apply a cream that will just irritate it more. I wish I could try a load of samples then decide...hmm.

Been keeping a close eye on tweets by some of my favourite make-up guru's.

http://www.youtube.com/user/MissPrincessPancake
Miss princess pancake Huuge USA Make-up haul! 30 mins long but well worth a watch.
Pixi2woo very funny video of her boyfriend doing her make-up. It's actually quite a nice look. Be good to see more of these videos. Boyfriends or just best boy friends attempting to do your make-up!

A Model Recommends- Have just started watching her video's and I love them! A lot of the products on her channel are luxury products. I think she is informative about the products she uses and very honest. Even if you can't afford some of the high end brands, she gives some very good tips especially in her line of work where she will be using so many make-up products daily and her skin is always radiant and lovely.
I guess it all depends on what skin type you are though.

What's in my bag...and a review of the Rouge Bunny Rouge Mini lip gloss.

MY BAG

My Bag is by Mischa Barton-Bernie Across Body Bag. that my sister bought me for my birthday in April.
http://www.mischabartonhandbags.com/productdetails.php?productid=425

Was £45 but now £18.
I was unsure of this bag at first because of the colour but I love it, I am never without it now!!!

Oh and an Ugg flip flop in the background....
Looking a little ropey there.

The lining...

mess!!!

Essentials...I have hayfever so I need tissue's with me everywhere I go!!!
These were from halfpriceorless and were about 60p...I think.
Railcard
Work Badge for getting NHS discounts.
Three essential Lipgloss/sitcks.
Bobble-Soft ones
Pens-for work.
Bus tickets.....rubbish!

This is a CHANEL Lipgloss-Rouge Allure Laque 78. A bright pink.

I keep this in my handbag for unexpected nights out. Always prepared!

It's easy to apply and is more like a lipstick when it's on.

This is the Rouge Bunny Rouge-Mini Lipgloss. I received this in my glossy box from June.
This lipgloss smells like...Sweets..I have asked my Mum and she thinks it smells like fruit salad sweets. I personally can not remember them. I really like the smell but it might not be to everyone's taste.

Had to hold it between my knees...Also the label has worn off already as it's been in my bag for soo long.

You can't really see HOW shimmery this is on this picture but it is. It has small silver specs of glitter.
On the label it says this lipgloss is hydrating. I remember being very sceptical about this as soo many of my lipglosses make my lips so dry. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this gloss as it kept my lips soft from the first application and until it comes off.

Then the last lipstick is by MAC and I love this lipstick! It is one of my favourites. It is called Satin Mocha.

~

I went to Sainsburys today and decided to get some candles for my room. This first candle, Wild Cotton
says-
A fresh and clean wild cotton (fragrance) with delicate floral undertones.

I love the smell of this candle as it smells like the Isimiaki perfume.
£1.50

This candle smells like Amberwood & Orange.....no surprises there! Making my room smell nice and sweet masking the fresh paint smell!
£1.50

This candle is the same but it is a bit bigger and in a glass tub. £2!

Went to the SALES in Laura Ashley and bought this Lovely Cushion.
Story behind this is....We had one left over roll of wallpaper so we exchanged it for this cushion. It will probably will go on my chair once the cover is finished but will have it on my bed at the moment.
Think it was £22 in the sale reduced from £40...(So expensive!) But we got it to the till and it was £17.50 so I think we only had to pay £2.50 towards it. Great!

Kim Kardashian Perfume.

I have included this as I bought this a while ago but I really love the smell of this perfume. It smells like tuberoses! I wear it all the time but especially on a night out. Personally I think it's more of a winter perfume but it was only released recently in the UK.

My Bedroom! and more shopping...

FINALLY!
Here it is! Not entirely finished....but it will be soon!
Still awaiting a dressing table mirror which is still in the making. A chair cover annnd shabby chic picture frames to complete the look.

This Picture was taken at night so you can see the bedside lamp and how it is next to the wallpaper. The bedside lamp was form wilkinsons and cost £12.

Thought I would add this. Have had these pictures from being sooo young as you can see I am that fat baby on the right. My two sister's (who will love me for this) are on the left!

Curtains, brand new! Bought material from a place in Preston, think I mentioned it in another blog post. Then as if by magic my Mum transformed the material into some amazing curtains!....maybe one day I will learn how to make curtains.

Below this was taken at night and as you can see I am watching MissPrincessPancakes Video on Youtube! When my mirror comes it will not be this cluttered on my table, I hope!

Then...the light!! Will have to find a link for this...it was only from Wilkinsons think it was about £20.

The best dressing table ever! Shabby chic! Found this on ebay but then my parents went down to pick it up from a place in Blackburn. These on ebay and everywhere we looked for this kind of dressing table were selling for about £450!! However this dressing table AND chair cost £150. £120 for the table then £30 for the chair.
 Absolutely love it!

I also have a glass cover on this and on my bedside table. However I have a very handy Andy in the house who was able to make this for me to protect the surface of my dressing table....from various smudges/stains/eyeliner/eyeshadow/nailvarnish.......I could go on! Would advise anyone to have a cover on theirs to protect it seen as it is a very pale colour.

Then this bedside table was a surprise as I didn't know I was getting this as well. Can't remember how much think it was£90.

Now today I went in to Lancaster for a bit of shopping. I have lost my eye lash curlers and I cant find them anywhere!! So decided to buy some more. I bought the 'modelsown' brand for £6 from boots.

I have really wanted some yellow and orange eye shadows....but couldn't really find any. The closest I could find was Maxfactor. I bought this and a Mascara, MasterpieceMax, high Volume & Definition Mascara. That was because my Mum wanted a new one. Then we got a 'free' gift....Which is in the stripy tin.

Also bought this eye liner as I ALWAYS use my bobbi brown gel eye liner but wanted a pencil just for when I am in a rush or being lazy.

Comparison of the BarryM on the left and the MaxFactor on the right. You can't really tell here but in the natural light the MaXFactor one looks darker.

Below....can't live without these...Love the Nose pore strips! I bought these for about £1.50 from everythinghalfpriceorless. Even if they don't really improve your skin they are just so satisfying to use! I only use these when I have had a week of not really taking my make-up off or have been on a night out and the next day my pores are really bad.
The spot szapping stick I have never used so will try that out and let you know how that is.

The Maxfactor freebie.

These were included in the tin.

This was in the tin.
~Mini Nailfinity Disco Pink
~Mini Vibrant Curve Effect Lip Gloss Bubbly
~Masterpiece Max Mascara Black 5.3ml
~Mini Khol Pencil Black

Ring from Urban Outfitters!

Will update this tomorrow! As I know I have forgotten the brush! Best buy from TKMax at £5!!!
